Official publication does not remove the need for context. Preserve footnotes, status fields, dataset type, reporting period, and source attribution. A missing value is not zero, and a revised record is not necessarily a new event. For legal, medical, financial, safety, protection, or public-policy decisions, confirm material findings with the publisher and a qualified specialist.

Treat each solution pathway separately

Voluntary return, resettlement, and local integration or naturalization describe different pathways and operate on different timelines. Build one series per solution type instead of adding them into a single success metric. Compare flows with the relevant displaced population stock, but state clearly that the ratio is descriptive rather than an individual probability. A scheduled Task can collect the latest solutions records monthly, deduplicate them on published dimensions, and flag changed values for review. When a historical figure changes, preserve both observations in an audit table before updating the reporting view. That revision trail is valuable for program evaluation and protects downstream reports from unexplained changes.
